A female person of interest is wanted by New Orleans Police in connection to an alleged St. Louis Street auto theft in May and other incidents.

New Orleans Police on June 10 released the above-pictured female who is believed to have information about the alleged auto theft in the 600 block of St. Louis Street on May 17.

New Orleans Police ask public to help ID suspect in Esplanade hotel burglary

New Orleans Police are asking the public to help identify a man who allegedly burglarized an Esplanade Avenue hotel on Friday.

The suspect reportedly entered the hotel in the 600 block of Esplanade Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8, according to New Orleans Police, who didn’t identify the name of the hotel.

After rummaging through the rooms and office, the suspect left the location through the front door with cash and several items in his possession.

New Orleans Police on Tuesday released a surveillance camera photo of the suspect, who is pictured above.

Second gutter theft suspect strikes French Quarter in 2 weeks

NOPD searching for suspected thief who stole copper gutters from buildings on St. Louis, St. Phillip streets

A suspected thief was captured on camera ripping pieces of copper gutters from buildings in the French Quarter early Friday morning, according to New Orleans Police.

The suspect allegedly struck two different locations in a matter of minutes, stealing copper gutters from the sides of buildings on St. Louis and St. Phillip streets, incidents that were captured on surveillance camera footage released by the NOPD on Tuesday.

The first incident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. on Friday when the suspect was seen removing a copper gutter from a business in the 900 block of St. Louis Street.

Fifteen minutes later, the same person was seen again removing another copper gutter from the side of a building in the 600 block of St. Phillip Street.

Light scrap copper—which includes sheet copper, gutters and other unalloyed solids with at least 88% copper—fetches around $2 per pound in Louisiana, according to various indices.

Police search for suspect who allegedly robbed Keys Fuel Mart on Feb. 13 wearing hunting camouflage

The New Orleans Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection to an alleged Feb. 13 armed robbery at the Keys Fuel Mart gas station on North Rampart Street.

The robbery occurred at about 12:31 a.m. when a suspect wearing hunting camouflage entered the Keys Fuel Mart in the 1100 block of North Rampart Street and displayed a handgun at the clerk, New Orleans Police said.

The suspect handed a white plastic bag to the clerk, who filled it with an unknown amount of cash and handed it back to the suspect, police said.

The suspect then fled the scene up Governor Nicholls Street toward North Claiborne Avenue, then unknown after that, New Orleans Police said.
