Two men are wanted for alleged attempted murder and aggravated battery charges stemming from an armed robbery near the French Market last week.
Arrest warrants were obtained for Tyler Bailey, 32, and Elliot Wilkinson, 35, who are wanted in an investigation of an armed robbery that occurred on Friday, Nov. 6 in the 1000 block of French Market Place, according to New Orleans Police.
New Orleans Police received a report of an armed robbery with a knife shortly after 10 p.m., when a victim was allegedly attacked from behind by Bailey and Wilkinson, who took the victim’s backpack and fled the scene.
Emergency medical responders arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital.
Through an investigation, detectives later identified Bailey and Wilkinson as the suspects in the incident, according to New Orleans Police.
Bailey is described as a white male standing approximately 6 feet 1 inch, with a thin build and long curly hair.
Wilkinson is described as a white male standing approximately 5 feet 7 inches, with a muscular build and multiple tattoos on his forearms
When located, Bailey will be arrested on a charge of aggravated battery, while Wilkinson will be arrested on charges of attempted second degree murder and armed robbery, according to New Orleans Police.
