Juvenile arrested in connection to Nov. 6 Bourbon Street shooting that injured 2 women

A juvenile was arrested in connection a Bourbon Street shooting that injured two women on Nov. 6, according to New Orleans Police on Thursday.

The NOPD said the shooting occurred at about 12:10 a.m. in the 500 block of Bourbon Street that injured two women, ages 28 and 54.

Detectives said they were able to obtain video of the alleged shooter. Through an investigation and after receiving tips from Crime Stoppers, Eighth District officials identified the juvenile suspect, who was not identified, according to the NOPD.

With the assistance of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, NOPD officials said they arrested the juvenile, who is facing one charge each of aggravated second degree battery and possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
