‘Bone Lady’ French Quarter tour operator arrested for alleged 2nd domestic shooting incident

A French Quarter tour operator known as the “Voodoo Bone Lady” was arrested on suspicion of domestic shooting incident in Algiers on Wednesday.

Onassys Bloomberg, 42, was detained at the scene after the shooting, which occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. in the 30 block of Lakewood Estates Drive, according to New Orleans Police.

An initial police investigation showed that a male victim sustained a gunshot wound and was transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital. It appeared that Bloomberg and the victim knew each other, according to New Orleans Police.

Bloomberg was booked into Orleans Parish Justice Center on suspicion of aggravated battery.

Bloomberg was arrested after a similar incident in January 2020 in which she allegedly shot a man in the abdomen following a domestic dispute.
