New Orleans Police are investigating a shooting on Canal Street that injured a man early Sunday morning.
The shooting was reported shortly before 3:30 a.m in the 500 block of Canal Street, according to New Orleans Police.
An adult male suffering a gunshot wound to the leg arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle minutes after the shooting.
No further information was provided.
