New Orleans Police have issued an arrest warrant for a Lake Charles man wanted in connection to a shooting that left one person injured in the Central Business District Saturday.
Police obtained a warrant for Joshua Stewart, 19, who was positively identified as a suspect in the shooting that occurred just after 3 a.m. in the 100 block of Camp Street, according to New Orleans Police.
Stewart is wanted on charges of aggravated battery and illegal discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence, which stem from the alleged shooting.
Stewart is believed to have relocated back to Lake Charles following the incident, according to New Orleans Police.
