NOPD: Man cut victim with broken glass, snatched $120 from pocket on Dauphine Street

A suspect is wanted in an armed robbery investigation on Dauphine Street Tuesday, according to New Orleans Police.

The incident occurred in the 400 block of Dauphine Street at about 6:15 p.m. when the unidentified suspect (pictures above) was talking to the victim and reached into his pocket, snatching $120 in cash, according to New Orleans Police.

The victim was allegedly cut by the suspect with a broken piece of glass when he attempted to retrieve his money.

After the incident, the suspect fled on foot down Dauphine Street onto St. Louis Street and towards North Rampart Street, New Orleans Police said.
