NOPD: Man arrested for having drugs, loaded handgun with extended magazine on Bourbon Street

The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) on September 9 arrested man on Bourbon Street after he was caught with a loaded handgun and marijuana in the 500 block of Bourbon St.

According to the NOPD, Dominick Raymond, 29, was approached by NOPD Eighth District Task Force detectives at about 12:04 am. and arrested after he was allegedly found with marijuana and a loaded handgun with an extended magazine. Raymond also allegedly possessed cocaine and ecstasy.

Raymond was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on suspicion of illegal carrying of a firearm by a convicted felon, illegal possession of marijuana, illegal possession of the aforementioned drugs.
