A male suspect used a gun to commit an armed robbery on Bienville Street last week, taking $120 from his victims before removing a blue face covering and exposing his face to nearby surveillance cameras as he walked away from the scene, according to New Orleans Police on Friday.
Police said incident occurred at about 8:15 p.m. on July 6 in the 800 block of Bienville Street, where the unidentified male suspect robbed his victims then removed the blue face mask he was wearing, while clutching the right side of his waistband while walking into the 700 block of Bienville Street.
The suspect was described as a caucasian or hispanic male in his 20s, thinly built with curly or shaggy hair and dark-colored facial hair; wearing a dark-colored t-shirt with a large while circular logo on the front, baggy denim jeans and white-colored Adidas style tennis shoes, according to the NOPD, which added that he was armed with a black pistol that was concealed in his right front waistband.
