New Orleans Police are seeking help to identify an alleged suspect who took a victim’s cellphone in a May 6 simple robbery on St. Ann Street.
The incident occurred at about 2:49 a.m. in the 700 block of St. Ann Street, where an unknown suspect attacked a male victim from behind and forcefully removed the cellphone from his hand, according to the NOPD on Tuesday.
After the robbery, police said the perpetrator fled towards the intersection of St. Louis and Dauphine streets. NOPD said the suspect is believed to frequent that area of the French Quarter.
