A 43-year-old man was arrested last week in connection to a string of robberies that occurred in the French Quarter, according to New Orleans Police.
Police officials on Sept. 22 said they arrested Tyrone Clark following an investigation into three simple robberies that occurred earlier this month in the French Quarter.
The arrest came following an investigation and after detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Clark on Sept. 20, according to the NOPD.
On the same day, NOPD officials said they located Clark in the downtown area. When police tried to detain Clark, he fled on foot but was quickly apprehended and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
Police said they arrested Clark in connection to the following simple robberies:
Sept. 8 in the 800 block of Saint Louis Street .
Sept. 15 in the 100 block of North Peters Street.
Sept. 17 in the 100 block of Burgundy Street.
