Victim sustains graze wound in shooting on Dauphine Street

A male victim sustained a non-life-threatening graze wound in a shooting that occurred on Dauphine Street early Thursday morning.

The shooting was reported shortly after 4:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Dauphine Street, according to New Orleans Police.

A tweet by the NOPD stated the victim may have been grazed by a bullet and refused emergency medical services at the scene.

New Orleans Police detectives are investigating the shooting. No further information was available.
