A New Orleans man was arrested Tuesday in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in the French Quarter last week.
The incident occurred shortly before 5 a.m. Feb. 5 in the 700 block of St. Philip Street, according to New Orleans Police.
Through investigation, Eighth District detectives developed 48-year-old Shawn Brooks as a person of interest and was later arrested.
Brooks was booked into Orleans Parish Justice Center on suspicion of first-degree robbery, access device fraud, illegal possession of stolen things and motor vehicle theft. His bail was set at $9,000.
