300-lb robbery suspect hits victim on the head and takes wallet in Orleans Street incident, New Orleans Police say

A man is wanted in connection to a Thursday robbery incident on Orleans Street in which a victim was struck on the head before the suspect took his wallet, according to New Orleans Police.

The incident occurred at about 9:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Orleans Street when the unidentified suspect (pictured above) began striking him in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground, according to New Orleans Police.

The suspect allegedly took the victim’s wallet and feld the scene.

The suspect is described in his late teens or early 20s, weighing about 300 pounds, and wore blants and a black jacket, according to New Orleans Police.
