Two alleged Esplanade Ave. auto burglary suspects arrested by NOPD

The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) arrested two men in connection to an August 28 auto burglary on Esplanade Street.

According to the NOPD, officers were called to the 1000 block of Esplanade Ave. at 10:41 p.m. when they observed two men, identified as 55-year-old Eric Youngblood and 40-year-old Damien Brown, leaning inside a car and taking items from the inside.

Both Youngblood and Brown were arrested at the scene without incident, according to the NOPD, and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on charges of simple burglary of an automobile.
