A man was arrested in connection to an auto burglary that occurred on North Rampart Street Friday, according to New Orleans Police.
New Orleans Police working on a French Quarter Task Force detail shortly after 4:30 a.m. allegedly saw a man, identified as 44-year-old Murphy Lewis, take multiple items from the victim’s vehicle in the 400 block of North Rampart Street.
Murphy was arrested without incident and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on suspicion of simple burglary of an automobile.
