A man and a woman are sought in connection to an incident in which an employee was knocked unconscious as the two allegedly dine-and-dashed from a restaurant on Tchoupitoulas Street Feb. 4.
The incident occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Tchoupitoulas Street, where the pair allegedly left the business without paying their tab, according to New Orleans Police.
The unidentified male allegedly punched one of the employees, causing him to fall to the ground, strike the back of his head against the ground and briefly lose consciousness. The pair then fled the scene.
The man is wanted on suspicion of one count of second-degree battery, while both the man and woman are wanted on suspicion of fraud in obtaining accommodations, according to New Orleans Police.
