A woman is sought in connection to a simple robbery near the intersection of Burgundy and Iberville street last week, which also included two attempted robbery incidents in the French Quarter last week, according to New Orleans Police.
The simple robbery occurred shortly 2 a.m. on Jan. 17, when the victim got into a vehicle with a male and a female individual, who took the victim’s purse, according to an NOPD 8th District Sgt. Carroll,
Carroll added that detectives are searching for 32-year-old Reeva Scott, who allegedly knows the victim and was in the car at the time of the robbery.
The first attempted robbery occurred Wednesday, Jan. 20, shortly before 10:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Canal Street when a tan SUV with three individuals pulled up to a couple and pointed a handgun at them, demanding they drop their bags, according to NOPD 8th District police.
The couple refused to drop their bags and across Canal Street, away from the SUV.
The second attempted robbery occurred Saturday, shortly after 4 p.m. in the 1000 block of St. Peter Street when the suspect stopped the victim on the sidewalk and blocked their path, according to the NOPD.
The suspect, who was not identified, demanded money from the victim, who fled the scene.
Detectives have obtained surveillance video, which they are using to identify the suspect, according to the NOPD.
