New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell and city health officials will hold a virtual town hall meeting Monday, Dec. 21 to discuss information relating to the COVID-19, including distribution and timelines.
The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., CST and will include a question-and-answer session by Cantrell; Dr. Jennifer Avengo, Health Department Director; and local community health specialist, Dr. Eric Griggs.
The panel will provide information on eligibility for the vaccine and will also address misinformation.

Louisiana health officials announced earlier this month that they expected to receive up to 39,000 doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
